big poopers?

yup...definitely the pleco - they are poop factories...quite often we'll see ours with a 'kite string' 2 or 3 feet long trailing.......

ewwwwwwwwwww

You want nasty, spiraly, stuff? Get a dojo, raise to full size...oh my, they make stuff that looks like a long thin string of brown spiral pasta.

How old and big are your dojos, NA?

Ma'am, they were almost full grown when we got them, and we had them for almost a year. The biggest one didn't so much get longer...he got a whole lot girthier. He would have been a snug fit into a standard hot dog bun.

We traded them back to our LFS in Charleston, SC (Tideline Aquatics), as they were a bit too active for my wife's 38-gallon tank (digging up everything...they really needed more room than we had).

When we brought them back, the fishkeeper at Tideline couldn't believe they were the same fish he'd sold us. His first remark was "Those are some fat Dojo's!"

What you eat affects your poop--"if" you gave them blue koolaid, it'd be alot more colorful!!! (not condoning it, though--puleeze!) good poop=good health for us and our critters . . . go figure!!
