A short fishkeeper's war story.......

Yesterday I cleaned my tank, tearing down all of the skelatal coral, cleaning it, and changing water. The water got a bit murky in the process. I was very careful in removing and replacing the coral checking for fish dug into it. After I put the tank back together, being very careful about dug in fish when I placed the coral, I noticed that my Coris wrasse was missing. After an hour or so more, he was still MIA. Knowing that he loves to dig into sand, I moved all of the coral and sifted every square inch of sand with my fingers, and he was still MIA. I went to bed seriously bummed at the fact that I probably had a hand in killing this really cool fish. I had NO clue of his whereabouts.

I woke up this morning and there was the wrasse! I was so happy, I almost cried! He's an absolute MASTER at hiding. In the two months that I've had him, I still have no idea where he sleeps.

Things are GOOD again in my world............... :)

Whew! Glad all the planets are again aligned. It is a scarey thing not finding your fish. I have/had ghost shrimp that I have not found and for all I know are now really ghosts! ;)
