Big Tank for Tiny Fish, would you?

Ok, so not ugly, but it's no longer got thay tiny cute charm. It's a big 'ol fish that can gobble up your hand or even your small pets if it ever grew lungs and legs. =p I'd be more tempted to take out and hug a big fish...lol

Which is why I keep a South American Lungfish:headbang2:

Does that mean that you hug your lungfish?

I'm undecided on the little vs. big in a bigger setup. Not that 75 gal is really "big" in the whole scheme of things - but I can see the benefits and joys of either direction - a few big fish, one big fish and a few small fish, a good group of small fish... I just don't know!! I love them all! Let's just turn the house into a big aquarium and have them all!! :) I can live in scuba gear... really!

Yeah, it's a good look to have tons of schooling tiny fish together. Centerpiece fish in your 500 gallon would be nice. Say 7 discus for centerpiece then 100 rummy nose, 50 black neons, 100 neons.
...Perfect
In 500 gallons, you could have 40 or 50 discus,500 rummy nose, and 250 neons. You could also have some BN plecos, dwarf cichlids, and some more schools of smaller fish if you wanted. It would be an awesome tank.
Tom Barr,AKA Plantbrain, has some pics of one here in the planted tank section.

heck yea- i'll love to have hundreds upon hundreds of little fish like the ocean having a huge school of fish at one time - the effect of it is unreal.

Swany, That is a beautiful tank, I love the wide variety of fish and all of the movement. Also, great job with the aquascaping.

Now someone on here is going to flame you for being overstocked. But I say, if the fish are that healthy and your water params are good and stable, then I don't care how many fish you have, you're not overstocked.
