If I ever get around to building a pond outside like I keep saying and where I can be more messy and slosh things around, I will definitely be buying what your talking about, especially since I will just have $0.12 feeders to watch them grow to monsters, sort of a tradition out here in the desert with pond keepers becasue the raccoons, coyotes, and hawks jump in to get them out once they reach 6" and cant hide anymore. My water contains chloramines and I still use thiosulphate. I find that even with 50 % changes any ammonia liberated from the chloramine is gone in a few hours. If all you have to contend with is chlorine the decision is even easier. The way I see it $6 for 25000 gal is just a better deal than $34 for 40000 gal. Ymmv.
