I place an order for a few things.

A week and some later the box arrives missing one item, and yet I'm charged for it.

I send an e-mail, get no response.

I call, the guy tells me it's next to impossible for a package to go out missing any items; however, he'll send one out "in good faith". In other words "you could be a crook".

I place another order for different items, but still need the missing item.

A week and a half goes by and I still don't have the original missing item.

I send and e-mail, get no response.

Tomorrow, I'll call....again.



I placed an order "in good faith". I got jipped out of something that I was charged for. They told me they would send it again, but made me feel like a criminal. Now they are ignoring me. What the F*** is wrong with these people?
 
Move to Canada and go to their retail stores. There are great people there. But everything is a whole lot of $$$.

But really thats a company for you. I have a broken Palm that I bought from Staples with their in store extra warranty, and they will not do anyting about it. Even though on the paper they approved it says that they will cover it. I think I might launch a legal case againsted them because Im more or less going to win no matter what. I really do hate living in todays messed up World.
 
First, never email for something important like that. You really need to talk to somebody or they will just think your fooling around. Its much more difficult to express emotion in an email. You need to let them know your a little upset to some degree, but not enough to make them not want to help you.

The longer you wait, the lower your chances are. So call ASAP.

Last, I wouldn't have placed another order if you still had a problem with the first. They may question you on that.
 
Sorry to hear about your experience. I've ordered a bunch from Big Al's and man, they have always come through. My orders take 7 days from the time I order until i recieve it and the only problem I have had was one item was out of stock, but I wasn;t charged for it and the confirmation email didn't have it listed, so I knew well before I got the package it would not have the one item. Sorry they are sucking for you.
