Alright well cam in my other thread asked why a bio cube, because i had planned on buying the 29 gal.

Its not that i dont mind saving the money its just i don't know how to do it.
I mean my lfs guy said he would help but that it would cost close to 800 dollars, but that a light would be alot of that.

I would wanna do a 55 gal set up with a 55 gal sump.
Requirements for me;
Bulkheads
Protein Skimmer
PVC piping
2 55 gall tank.
2 Koralia 3's

if theres anything missing from that list be obliged to fill the gaps in also give a price.

Is there any way to turn this 25 gal i already have into a reef ready tank without a sump or is it not even worth it without a sump.. id prefer to go with a sump though

i already have the light, being a 150watt sunpod i think itll do.

a 29 gal is all it would take to make me happy anyways, more space for my boulder live rock and corals. and its much cheaper ya know?

a return too i suppse i would need.

I've never done saltwater, but I don't think you need a sump as big as big as the tank itself. Also, if you are spending $800 on a tank that size, you are definately getting ripped off. Have you looked on craigslist or are you bent on buying it new?

it woudlnt be that much now, becuase the light is bought, can take 300 off that probably. and i guess yes i would need need 2 of the same tank size but tanks are relatively cheap, and all new stuff if im gonna do it, it would need to be new
