Bilogical Filtration Issue.

Hi guys,


I'm brand new to the forums....I recently just bought a Biological filter for my pond. The temperature outside is around 50 degrees F ....Will the bacteria grow with this water temperature? Or do I have to wait for the weather to become warmer to be more efficeient?

It is on the edge. Not much happens with biofilters until above 50-55F. But fish don't eat or digest much there either.
