Hey guys,

I am going to be starting a 10 gallon planted tank, its coming together, slowly. I have the filter running on the tank but there is nothing in the tank other then gravel. I had the filter running in the sump filter on my 120 gallon just to keep it cycled, now i have it running on the 10 gallon. I was just wondering if i need a bio load ( fish ) to maintain the cycle?

thanks,

-Sean

When are you adding the fish? I'd wait until the fish arrive and then just move the filter from the sump to the tank.

not for a while... at least a month, i need to get, boil and soak a piece of drift wood. but i could get a couple feeder fish if a bio load is needed.
