Ehhhh some of the larger ones look fake in person and up close. But as a whole, the tank looks very natural. I think the key is to plant in groups. I think I have about $40 in plants in that 20g. I planted heavy to give it a fuller look and to drive home the illusion that the plants are real.
All to often with fake plantings you see a tank with 3 or 4 plants. I tried to do foreground, mid and background plants to give it depth.
I've gotten good responses from it and I like it, so Im happy with it.

Here is the same tank as before, but with new inhabitants. The entire of school of Neons I bought died within 10 days. I am over 18 days with a school of 15 White Clouds and every one of them are alive and well.

The new pictures show the new fish plus a few new fake plants and one real Java Fern.

I shoulda cleaned the glass before taking the pictures, but I was in a hurry.
