Bio-Spira question.

I just have a quick question for anyone who has used Bio-Spira before. Is it ok to do a 25-50% water change before the cycle has finished?

Wait a day after you introduce Bio-Spira to give the bacteria time to settle onto something.

I always waited 2 weeks to do my first water change just to make sure the bacteria had settled in and I wasn't pouring it down the drain. I have heard you can do a water change 2 days after adding bio spira but I never did.

2 days is a good idea. During the first few days the bacteria may still be free swimming. It can tank a while for it to either a) die, or b) attach to something and eat.
