don't mean to hijack your thread but I did a web search on biospira and couldn't find it to buy. where do you get it?

You can find out more about Bio-Spira here: http://marinelandlabs.com/ They have a search field for finding Marinland retailers throughout the US. You can also contact them directly about which retailers carry it.

thanks! actually after I posted that I did go to the marineland website and it was really helpful. I hadn't seen it in the stores but I didn't know it had to stay in the fridge.

Larissa,
You probably will not find it in most local fish stores. I have found it in Houston at only one of the stores I have been to. Petco and Petsmart do not carry ir because Marineland makes you buy their small fridge in order for you to stock it. I Used it on both my 29 gallon and 10 gallon and it worked great. Put in a full tank of fish with the bio-spaira and never had any problems.
