I have a newish 8 gallon biocube. and i was wondering what i should do for the water flow. Should i buy a new pump and add some flares to the tanko or should i buy a Hydor Koralia Nano and use that instead? Its a reef so i want to have whatever is best. Also if i got a Koralia Nano what would be the best way to point it? Thanks

since that is a pretty small tank, the tank filter would probalby just do fine. but if you see some red slime or some diatoms, that may mean that you need more circulation. You dont want that much flow in a tank because it will basically turn into a jaccussi type thing and it will damage your corals. if you really do need more circulation, I would choose one that doesnt have that big of a flow, and try to make the flow go towards the filter intake. That will make the debrees in the water go into the filter.

I know tunze makes a small powehead I cant remember the model number I do remember thats its super small and the output is measured in L/hr instead of G/hr

8 x 20 = 160

8 x 40 = 320

you want between 160-320 gph goin in that 8 gal, granted, your striving for a reef.
