Biological filter media.

which is the best bio media of the 3?
gravel? bio balls or ceramic rings?
i'm planning to add more bio media into my filter since my tank is getting crowded already.

I like the bio balls since they are pretty hard to clog up and since I use it as a backup/prefilter with my bio-rocker.

If its a cannister, i'd use something like bio chem stars, or bio max, or anything ceramic-like and porous.
