I'm looking forward to hearing from someone first hand who has seen more aquatic plant habitats than I can dream about. Here is some background information:

Claus Christensen has been involved with aquariums for 50 years, and has specialized in planted aquariums for 35 years. In 1989, he was awarded the “Aquarium Oscar”, the highest award given to aquarists in northern Europe.

He is known to have brought many new ornamental plants in the European market, and from there they have spread to hobbyists around the world. Among others, these plants include: Pogostemon helferi, Myriophyllum mezianum, Vallisneria spiralis ‘Tiger ', Staurogyne repens, Echinodorus 'Red Diamond', Eleocharis parvula, Limnophila sessiliflora (new) Microsorum pteropus 'Philippines' etc.
Claus worked for 25 years for Tropica Aquarium Plants in Denmark, serving as CEO of the company from 2000 to 2006.
