BIRD PARTY!

hahaha, it's the best I can come up with, Jinkz.... it's this large mass of vegetation and in the middle of it is something pine that is growing all gangly because it's all entangled. I'm gonna have to take a pick of it in the spring so you can get the full effect. It's a great privacy screen though!

Ha! That "bush thing tree thing" is the lilac in front of my barn. And thanks, DD and MsJinks. I'm glad you both enjoyed!

Some really nice pictures
Looks like the cardinals like your neck of the woods =)

Beautiful birds! :) I'm surprised to not see any squirrels. The birds have to share their feeder with hungry squirrels here. I usually try to coax the squirrels to eat peanuts that I set under the feeder so that the birds are left to enjoy their seeds. Thanks for sharing. ;)

Thanks Jerzboi. And yes, I have prime habitat for cardinals... lots of low-growing brush bordering a large swamp.

Some people love the mountains while others dream of an ocean view, but the landscape I love most is a funky, swampish brew.

I tried to get a picture of the squirrel that was guzzling sunflower seeds from one of my feeders but he took off before I could zoom in. I also tried to get a picture of the redshafted flicker that comes to my feeders in the afternoon, but he tends to be a bit too skittish.
