Bird Watching

Nice shots! (Again) Before my woods were torn down I had wild turkeys & they were fast little suckers! They get mighty plump too.

I was thinking of you as I posted these pics. Consider it a vicarious moment, heh? And I really am sorry about the development that went up next to your place. Gives me the heebie jeebies just thinking about that happening here.
 
I came across these swans while out for a walk this afternoon. They first showed up last spring and now they're back.

One morning my husband and I were at the table around 5am-ish....we glanced out the back door (french sliders) and there were over 20 turkeys playing around out there. Some were jumping up and down flapping, others were picking at thier feathers..some taking dust baths. Must have just woke up and were getting ready for the day....just like we were ! Lol

Very cool sight though....wish I had my camera !
 
Pearl, those swans look way cool. Do they stay for the season or are they visiting for a while on their journey north?
