Birhir and hillstream loach

bichirs and hillstream loach

I am intrested in getting a hillstream loach with my two bichirs, is it wise? I had an experiance with their eating habit with my spotted talking cat and one of my bichir tried eating his whisker.

Bichirs like to eat...they like to eat fish, any fish will do, it doesn't matter the size, shape or colour, bichirs like to eat...get my point?

even if you buy them the same size, bichirs will quickly outgrow them and they will be food.

AFAIK, aren't hillstream loach coldwater, also requiring fast slowing water?
