I have 2 full grown breeding angels, yesterday one of my angel got stuck in a piece of lavarock, I got him out however he has some scale damage on his left side. Today it looks like a small piece of white cotton around the area that was damaged, what should I do. To make sure this gorgeous Angel doesn't lose the healing battle. (lavarock removed already)

turn the temp up a couple degrees.
but keep in mind that sometimes it looks like that when a wound is healing over. its more of a slime look than cottony though.
the fact that you say its cotton looking makes me wonder if its a fungal infection.

Thank you, I just installed a 500w titanium heater not even an hour ago, and he seems to be hanging out near it quite a bit

I wouldn't raise the temp if it appears to be a bacterial problem. warmer temps help bacteria to thrive.
do frequent water changes..the clean water will go a long way to help heal.

you can add pimafix and or melafix if you think you need to. they are used sometimes n situations like these to create an environment not bacteria friendly.

the cotton like substance, is gone now since I raised the temperature, but I only raised it from 76 to 78, and the little bugger seems to be healing hopefully....I paid a small fortune for these 2

You could try melefix or pimafix as star_rider said, but just make sure water is in good shape and do as many partial water changes as you can over the next couple of weeks.

thank you very much for your help, I am going to petland tommorow and I am gunna give the melafix a try, I see it's relatively inexpensive, again thanx!!
