im getting a stingray soon, i always wanted to see how powerful they can sting... :lol2:

Seriously? The easier to keep ones need a huge tank. And the smaller ones are not a good idea for beginners, but still need at least a 125 gallon.

As far as the whole biting thing. It does not seem as though the fish was harmed. Probably stressed for a bit, but no worse for the wear from the looks of things. Not something I would do myself. Or post on a fish forum :shakehead:

I have been bitten by some of my larger cichlids. Only when my hand was in their tank, and I did not see it coming. I would never try to get them to bite me intentionally. I hope you don't try it again. With the piranha, or any other animal.

Live and learn......

yes the people in the movies are trained professionals that have a staff that ensure that the animal isn't harmed and is taken proper care of. You are NOT one of those people, sorry to burst your bubble. You're getting made a fool of is what you're doing, these people who are paying you aren't paying you because they think you have a valuable skill, they are paying you to make a fool of yourself. It's like me saying i'd give 5$ to eat a tablespoon of cinnamon. I wouldn't pay you because I think it's "cool" I'd pay you to make an *** of yourself. Even the people in Jackass have a team of professionals guiding them through the stunts, yes it looks like they just do it off the cuff and spontaneously, thats just the glamor of it all. Hollywood can do many many things, they even played a role in fooling the Germans in WWII.

Ah...brings me back to steve O swallowing that goldfish and regurgitating it back up. :shakehead:

There should be a sign like at the zoo:

Do not feed the troll...

By all means, please keep doing what you're doing. King cobra would be cool too. Maybe a nice blue ringed octopus bite to add to your collection.

Sorry but I gotta argue the point about the guys on "jackass"
Steve-O is in no way a professional nor does he have professionals with him(except for the animal stunts)

I have met him when he came to Modesto for a show, and cutting your tounge with glass, drinking "yellow stuff" smoking illegal drugs on stage, etc are not valuable skills.

The only reason he does those stunts is because he is high as a kite, and getting paid.

I'm not saying the OP had a good idea, but people are chastising him like he clubbed a baby seal for fun.

He is ok, the fish is ok, let's just stop all the name calling...

I think 9 pages of name calling is probably enuff. Let's all be adult about all this and just nicely advise him against this...

...the film had a safety consultant. And the safety aspects of the stunts had actually been well thought-through. The stuntman in the toilet is strapped in carefully; and in another stunt, in which a man rides a jetski out of a swimming pool, up a ramp, and over a hedge, his landing area has been properly padded....

just because you don't see and meet them doesn't mean they don't exist.
