Bizarre Creatures Discovered

love the fact that we are constantly surprised by what mother nature has placed in our waterways and oceans

"collected a species of coral over 800 years in age"

hmmm, not sure how i feel about that. it lived and survived for that long, and they came by and broke it off to look at it. it's like, "wow, look at that tree! it must be the biggest, oldest tree in the world! let's cut it down and see exactly how old it is. . . "

i doubt the amount of coral they took from that particular one was enough to cause any sort of long term detriment to it.

i think this is awesome, and the best part is, we're gonna keep doing this forever, because we will never find ALL of the oddball animals down there.

I think there may be more unknown species than there are known.

Probably so

Check out the "Open Ocean & The Deep" DVD in this set:

The animals in the deep sea have to be the strangest creations out there.
"The Deep" was my favorite, but I advise getting this whole set. You have to watch it in high definition too.
I'm sure you can find it for cheaper than this. I only used this page to show you what it was.

I heard that we know more about the surface of the moon the we do about the bottom of the ocean.
