Black convicts compatibility?

Females are more colorful with orange spots on their bellies. Males have no orange and usually tiny dark spots on their dorsal and anal fins.

Here's my one female.

Great looking fish! The ones I was looking at are black convicts, they're a lot darker than these. Will the females still have the orange spots?

Those are black convicts, the color changes with mood, they can get pretty dark or light with a very pronounced black bars.

Yep. When mine are in breeding mode they have very dark stripes and the female's orange is really bright.
