I love shopping on Black Friday. The stores are already releasing their black friday ads now. Some of the stores are opening on Thanksgiving. I don't think the bargains will be as good as in the past due to the terrible economy. Staples has a good deal on Duracell batteries. You get 16 batteries for 12.99. But they give you the money back as store credit. Anyway, lots of stores have released their ads in the last few days. Gonna look for some bargains now. Anybody else like shopping on Black Friday?

If you're looking for a 42" TV for $200.00, be first in line at Best Buy.

You might have to miss Thanksgiving Dinner to get one of those. I'll be watching football.

Best Buy is selling those Sansa Clip Mp3 players again this year for $30.00(regular price is $50.00). That's a really good deal and would make a great gift. I own 2. They are great. Sound as good as any iPod for a fraction of the cost. The Sansa Clip is also an FM radio and a voice recorder. It has 4GB storage but you can add more with a SDHC micro card. The ear buds that come with it are not that great, so if you buy one, I'd get some good earphones. Here's 2 reviews on the Sandisk Sansa Clip Zip.

Wal-Mart has Wrangler Jeans on sale for $10.00. That's a pretty good deal.

I had read that TVs, in general, were going to be pretty cheap this season. Lots of folks have already taken the HD plunge, and the hope was to get them to grab a second for another room.

Oh, I want to see the black friday add for comp usa! (or tiger direct, same thing). I hope I can find something good. I would really like a nice 20-24in hd tv for my bedroom for use as a tv and as a computer monitor via hdmi.

Walmart starts their BF sale at 10p.m. thanksgiving day this year. I have my eyes set on a $3 waffle maker and an $18 toaster oven for my parents. Not big ticket items, so I hope I score them.

If the store runs out of an item, you might try buying it online. Wal-Mart usually has .99 cent shipping. Shipping might be free if they ship to a store. You might want to check online before you even go to the store to avoid all the crowds. I avoided going to Best Buy last year by buying their Black Friday sale items online. I got free shipping too.

Still looking for good deals. Sears has all DieHard boots on sale for $40.00.

The BFAD site has a really nice search feature. You can search all the Black Friday ads for items and they'll list the store and prices that has that item for sale. A great way to find exactly what you are looking for and to find the best deal.

For example if you were looking to buy a nikon camera you'd get this listing:
http://bfads.net/Search/nikon camera

A search for memory cards:
http://bfads.net/Search/sdhc

A search for Mp3 players:
http://bfads.net/Search/mp3

I love that search feature.

Deals that I'll probably get(I'll try to by most online first):

Staples: Adobe Photoelements & Premiere 10 for $75 and their Duracell Battery Deal
Office Depot: Sandisk Micro 16 GB SDHC card for $16
Walmart: 600 thread count bed sheet set for $20, Wrangler Jeans for $10, RubberMaid Storage Set for $6.88.
Best Buy: Sandisk Sansa Clip Zip $30
Dicks Sporting Goods: Carharrt Jacket $70

Not impressed with too many of the deals being offered this year. Times are very tough and the stores can't give as many great deals(have many loss leaders) as they did in the past.

Here's a good youtube review on the sansa clip zip being offered by Best Buy. That's a great inexpensive gift.

Before buying anything, always check youtube and amazon for product reviews.
