black friday specials and fish supplies

hi there. I've only recently gotten back into the hobby and was curious as to whether you long time experts know if the Black Friday specials after Thanksgiving are worth it to wait if you're looking to set up a new tank or just buy some general fish supplies.

I know that some general merchandise stores offer coupons for general merchandise (which includes all fish supplies) and was thinking maybe petsmart, petco, or even online merchants offer deep discounts for tanks, lights, heaters, hoods, canopies, stands, etc.

Not many places seem to have put out Black Friday specials yet but for online vendors you may want to check out sales for Cyber Monday as well.

i dont think more places really do much. a good idea is to look on the forums for deals on equipment and craigslist too. might be used but can save a ton of money.

Petsmart offers some coupons (or atleast did when I worked there), but most of it was toward dog products. I think there was something for some money off the total purhcase, but I don't exactly recall.

I wouldn't expect much of anything from the national chains.
