Hey, i just wanted to know, what foods do you feed you BGK?I love my BGK hes the king of the tank, and i just want him to be happy, and i guess i just want him to have more variety in his diet.I feed him bloodworms everyday,he'll clean all the flake food off the floor, and i occasionally give him Mealworms. So what else is there to give him, cause if i was him id be tired of the food, lol.Im thinking of puttin in ghose shrimp, but anywho let me know what your bgk likes!Much love

Hmmm....I've never tried meal worms on my BGK....

They LOVE ghost shrimp. I found this out the hard way. I acutally bought them for my ray and put them in my BGK's tank for keeping until it was luch time for the ray. It didn't occur to me for some reason that my BGK would devour them. Well, he did. Cleaned up about 10 of 'em in a few hours!! Needless to say he was quite happy!! ;) He had to be pretty full, too, as he's only about 6" long.
I also put in shrimp pellets for him and my cories. Then he feasts on left over flakes and I also feed all the fish in the tank blood worms either frozen or freeze dried. I tried giving him a peice of dried krill once, but he wanted nothing to do with it.
I'm gonna try a little nite crawler one of these days, I'd imagine he'd love that!....

They love bloodworms and will eat anything that is smells good like pellets and flakes

mine has been mostly on a diet of bloodworms, dried and frozen. i am assuming it ate the ghost shrimp in the tank, and has probably also eaten shrimp pellets and possibly algae tabs.....

My BGk loves.......slow sinking granules, beefheart, bloodworms, brine shrimp, zuccini {did I spell that right?}, a good varied diet.
