Yes so don't even try mixing doradids with serpentine loaches.would an adult spotted talking catfish fit one in his mouth?
I don't think the cats would be deterred from thinking kuhlis as meals. They are opportunistic feeders and will attempt it anytime. No can do I'm afraid.Pangio kuhli, as well. I don't think there is much noticeable difference between the two besides the colour. From what I've read, your cat shouldn't be too interested in turning kuhlis into a meal.
Kuhlis are very slender in body shape. I had an incident that had happened before between my striped Raphael and an elusive kuhli that I was never able to move. It is easy to underestimate how most fish can gobble up others.http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=313
I took my info from planetcatfish. Note these two quotes:
"A perfect community fish"
"Ideal first catfish for a budding aquarist as well as a good ''worker'' catfish for all levels of community tanks"
I didn't think a 5" fish with that description would harm 3.5" kuhlis![]()
Forgot to include the size.lol 4-5 inches and kuhli is 2.5 inches.how big was your raphael?
