i read somewhere that when a mollie is about to give birth she'll stay at the bottom of the tank is that true? and if so how soone after she does this will it happen?

i've never dealt with mollies but i noticed when my guppies are ready to pop they don't just stay at the bottom they actively look for a place to spew their fry ...
furthermore, if you think she's that close you can throw her in a little breeding box and she'll probably give birth because of the stress.

She could also get sick because of the stress and she might have the babies before it is time because of the stress. I would just provide plenty of hiding places for the babies and let her do her thing.
