black moor emergency

well, i throw the algae tabs in there for the snails, since the tank is dedicated to them. he's just there to make poop so there's enough organic material to get some plants later.

he's back to normal again, and staying away from the tabs now.

yeah, plus i'm not putting a heater in there until the weather gets colder, and i didn't want something that needs warm water.

of course, i got him for a temporary purpose, but now. . . he's cute. and i made the mistake of naming him. so i guess he's going to stay.
 
Embrace the hobby. You are becoming an aquanut, don't resist, it's happy here.

i have a lionhead goldfish, which are even worse about swim bladders than most goldfish.
but i do give him peas and it does help for a little while.. its not a CURE but it will help quite a bit.
