i have a half blind black moor who i trained to let me catch him at feeding time and put in a 5 gallon bucket with some of his water in it for feeding time so that i can feed him his food and his fan tail buddy its food and then return my moor when he is done eating. maybe you could try this but i think my moor may be special cuz he doesnt get stressed when its bucket time.
you could make a (cheap)clear plexi glass divider to slip into the tank during foodtime and have the fantails on one side and the moor on the other and then remove it when you are done feeding.that way mr.moor doesnt get stressed cuz he can see his buds on the other side of the divider.
