Black or White?

oh wow those are gorgeous i definetly see the quandry. mabey the op should look at his tank set up and see which would be best for displaying the bettas colors in that tank.

made the mistake of putting a dark rich beutiful blue betta in an unlighted tank with a blue and green grass background guy is invisable most of the day.

If you have darker lighting and darker colored substrate, go for the white, he'll "pop" better. If you have bright lighting and light substrate, go for the black. :)

Personally, I would go for both, and if I had to, I'd house them in sterlite bins until I could get them real homes, but that's just my betta obsessed side talking.

The pic fishy showed is exactly what the white one looks like and many of my coworkers say I should get the Plat. The tank is the same tank that Hermes :(RIP was in. I agree I'd love to get both but I don't have the space

pick your fish for your tanks display

not saying fish are decorations but this was my mistake *fish came before background*

check my sig i have a video of him swimming. btw this guy is my fin rot survivor that is how he got his 10 gal personal pic :)

I'd go with the black plakat, would really stand out against the green of a nicely planted tank.

Wow, is that the going rate for plakats nowadays? I had a breeding pair about six years ago, they were about $4 or $5 dollars each then.
