Just got some java fern and its got black spots all over it. Is this ok??

My Java Fern looks the same. i was told it was the plants 'sex organs' and little plantlets will begin to form.
k well that confirms what i had heard but can't find a pic of this anywhere so i thought i better ask about it.

Yes I have been told by many people now that they are spores that the plant reproduces with so all is good :^D. It does make me more confident in my local petsmart cause they also told me that.
