I am new to this site and I really appreciated your post
and it's nice to see someone say we should consider before
we judge what's out there on knowledge.
I have a question that maybe someone could help me with
I have a black moor I've had since October 2003 in a 5.5 Gal.
with 2 smaller fantails May 2004 two small ottos and 2 small
corydoras, I know it's a lot in a 5.5 Gallon and unfortunately
no one told me before hand, in fact the pet store said it would
be fine - they are all healthy but I really have to watch that
my black moor (Toshiba) a personal favorite gets her share to
eat, I think she thinks she's a bottom eater actually, I have
been considering moving the 2 fantails and leaving the rest
in tack - would this be a wise move or not?
I have 2 other 5.5 Gallons and a 10 Gallon but I would put the
2 fantails in a tank I'd buy, room is becoming a factor but I
don't want to jeopardize Toshiba. All the fish in all the tanks
are healthy, I don't notice any problems and I can't do much
about having too many now but I can find ways to spread them
out some if I have to improvise for the sake of the fish.
Any advice here would be welcome, obviously asking the fish
stores got me in this pickle to begin with so I'm hoping I can
get some good advice here.
Thanks.
