If you want to buy Kno3 and Po4 online, visit Greg Watson's webpage at:

A great guy that'll take care of you. Highly recommended.

This may be the route I will eventually go, but i would like to pick some of this Stump remover up tomorrow, but I just don't know how much to add to the tank. Does anyone know what kind of dosing to use for this? Thanks :)

At 2 wpg there is no rush for dosing and there are two reasons to get some ferts from Greg Watson.
1. You can get all of them together which is a much better way to go to start and maintain a nutrient balance.
2. Although it is often used for KNO3 (I used it myself at one time), IMO stump remover is not nearly as pure as Greg's. If you compare the color and texture of stump remover - any brand - to the KNO3 you get from Greg, you will see the difference.

Go here: http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/forumapc/fertilator.php? for a calculator for nutrient dosing. Save a shortcut for that page to your desktop and you'll always have it handy.

what type of liquid fertilizer are you using now? For the short term, I recommend getting 4 types of fertilizers (nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, and micro). Seachem has a line that I've used in the past with good results, Flourish. The flourish line contains many products but the ones you need to start out with are Flourish Nitrogen, Flourish Phosphorus, Flourish Potassium, and one simply called Flourish. Using these at the recommended dosage should help your tank take off while you learn more about the fertilizing requirements and get used to dosing with the stuff from Greg Watson.

Well, right now I am using Kents botanica, 2 types, micro nutrients and macro(grow formula). I just picked up Grants Stump remover, couldnt find Spectracide brand. Once again, the bottle does not tell me the concentration or even what's in it.

I would love to know how much people use of this Grants Stump Remover.

I went to the link, but I am not a member so it would not give me access.

Once again i was wrong, the grow formula does not have the macro nutrients. This whole thing is confusing. Is there anywhere I can go that will tell me exactly what I need and at how much per gallon?

I add 1 tsp of potassium sulfate a week and 1/8th tsp of P. Nitrate a day ... >.> I wonder if that's ok..

The fertilizer calculator that djlen provided is good and so is the Aquatic Plant Central website. It's worth registering to their site.

Maybe I will do that. I wrote to Greg Watson and he actually wrote back and is helping me with what I need to buy and dosages. I think it's very cool how fast he wrote back and how nice he is. he's definately got a new customer.

Lorazoo - re-read my last post. I gave you a link for the Fertilator. All you have to do is type in the required numbers and it tells you how much of each to use for your tank.
Greg is a fellow hobbiest and will not hesitate to help in any way he can. His prices are very fair as well.
