Hey CCM is that near Wheeler? I was just up that way for Memorial Day Weekend. Also, I worked with the Alabama Geologic Survey doing some species surveys up that way several years ago. Beautiful area! I would really love to see some of the backcountry by kayak, we stuck mainly to the shallows where we could wade.

Blackwell Swamp is part of Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge. Paddling is definitely the best way to see it.
