I want to buy blackworms and other little worms.

I don't feel like paying $35 for 1/4 lbs (I don't think I even need 1/4 lbs) and lfs aren't super close by.

Even if it is a bit of a trip going to a LFS should not set you back too much. I don't think it should be more than $5 for a 2 or 3 oz cup.

If you can't get blackworms, frozen bloodworms are a good alternative. Also freeze dried worms are a decent option.

I can't use frozen, I need live and moving or my salamander won't eat them. I know LFS blackworms aren't too expensive but like I said, it's a trip.

Try to find a reef group in your area that does group buy on CBW. When I do 10lbs purchase of live CBW, it work out to $15/lb

PVAS(Potomac Valley Aquarium Society) does group buys of blackworms every 2 months. They have been around $15/lb with 1/2 lb minimum(although some split).

Thanks! I think I'm a member of them.

Updated: Ok, I'm not but I'm joining the forum. Think that'll let me in on the group buy?

If that doesn't work out I might be able to get you an ounce or two of California black worms from one of my tanks. Just pm me and let me know. :)

I got way too many to begin with and lost a lot, but there's still quite a mess of them in one of the 5g. (Only one healthy dwarf gourami in there to pick them off. :) )
