Bladder snail?

My bladder snail is more olive in color with tan spots.
The olive color was what tricked me into thinking I had some more olive nerite, till I picked it up and saw the pointy shell.

No she wants to know if there is a difference in the eggs :) I can't tell the difference between the egg sacs, unless I'm missing something.

:duh::duh::duh: Thanks - I thought it was kind of strange that she new she had a bladder snail but didn't know how different it looked from a ramshorn -- I call it twin brain stupidity *the twins each took half my brain when they were born).

They're quite easy to tell apart once you've seen both.

Bladder snail eggs look like a blob, more spherical. Ramshorn eggs are flat.

Do they lay a bunch at a time?

Yeah they do.. I should've said clutches of eggs rather than just eggs.

Sounds pretty - can you get a pic?

I can see the eggs in the sacs, and I have a lot of different types of pond snails, but I've never noticed that one was more flat than the other. Thanks Vampie!

Yes, you bladder snail is very cute!
I have seen lots of ramhorn eggs, so maybe I will see the difference.
This is the first bladder snail I have ever seen in real life. Did not know they where so cute!
Hope to see some more of them!

I like your bladder snail - it looks kind of red. The only ones I have are gold.

Thanks - it is quite reddish. I had no idea they came in so many different colors!
