I have a kenyi whose stomach is a darker blue than the rest of her body. She's perfectly active, eating, playing, erect fins, full color, etc. The only thing is the somewhat darker stomach. She moves way too fast for me to get a clear picture.

So am I just being paranoid or could it be the early signs of bloat?

I feed only Omega One veggie flakes and chopped nori. The rest of her diet is from algae grazing.

Everyone else (three labs and a powder blue) look no different.

Since your fish is still eating and active, I wouldn't be concerned. If bloat was causing enough damage internally that you could see physical effects, I'm pretty sure it would already be acting differently.

Hope this helps

I was going off the same idea as hslee. By your explanation, "She's perfectly active, eating, playing, erect fins, full color, etc. The only thing is the somewhat darker stomach.", it seems your fish is perfectly healthy. I don't know if it normal or not to have a darker stomach but it sounds like nothing to worry about.
