bloated but active fish..?

hi,

i have a problem with my cherry barb hwich is bloated but still very active with a good appetite. it has been this way for about 2-3 months.. should i quarantine it for an internal bacterial infection?

the scales are not protruding thus it should not be dropsy. the cherry barb is female which are known to be plumper.. but bloated? it also eats a lot... maybe it's just fat

the other cherry barbs in the shoal are doing fine.. and the other females are not as bloated as this one.

any help would be appreciated!

do you have a picture?
It might just be a fat fish. I had a huge tiger barb once.

no unfortunately i don't have a digital camera... anyhow, i guess i'll just leave it for now.. it seems happy... no heavy breathing, normal behavior.. good appetite.

should be fine i guess. will come back if there are problems..
