bloated cherry barb- is she full of eggs or sick?

One of my female cherry barbs has been getting bigger and bigger. a few days ago I noticed her stomach is HUGE. She's almost twice regular size.
Her scales are also slightly ruffled. Should I try to get her to lay eggs or do I need to treat with something? Everything else in the tank is fine.

Mine never swelled up THAT much... should look for other possibilities. Pic(s) would be nice.

Mine look like this too. I just assumed they where American fish...obese.

Mine get that way sometimes, too. Although I've never seen the scales "ruffled". That could be a sign of sickness. I haven't fully woken up yet, at the moment the name of it escapes me, maybe Dropsy?

I have fat rasboras that look something like that...I would worry if it swells anymore :/
