my parrots mouth isn't deformed. I've watched him hunt and eat feeder gups.
I actually meant the way they are developed. All the parrots I've seen in stores (including mine) don't close their mouth all the way. It looks like they are always surprised :)

the fish store got 2 3.5" ones with really twisted mouthes

my parrot is perfect!! It has the shape of a parrot without the rediculuse amount of bloat its mouth is perfect it has dark red color, and it is eght inches. purists don't like them because of mishaped spines mouthes fins and bad immunity. infact the people who can crack code for parrots have to cull most of the fry because they are to deformed. like I said pefore, my NP is an example that purists will have to find new resons to hate other that they are not natural or learn to love them.

Hi all...I just had to share in my excitement...My 75g is up & running like it should be w/ gravel & ornaments from a cycled tank...Just trying to help it along. So, I've still got to make fish decisions & I'm still as clueless as before. Are there any kind of larger tetras that would go well with my 2 BP's? If I decide on a silver dollar, will one be happy by itself? I don't want to get just one of a fish if it is happier w/ another of it's own kind. Thanks again!!
