Blood red shrimp

Do they attack hermit crabs or turbo snails ?


I lost a couple crabs and a snail over the past few weeks. Other inhabitants of the tank are 2 percula clowns, 1 dottyback and a yellow tang,

I am not for sure on this but I have had these blood shrimp before and did not notice them bothering any of my inhabitants. Of course they only lasted 2-3 weeks before my flame hawk finished them all off.

Maybe I'm wrong, but don't some dottybacks go after inverts?

I have the blood shrimp in the reef, and they are very peaceful, don't bother any of the inverts, or fish. I agree--dottybacks are not safe with most crustaceans.
