today i bought some frozen blood worms to feed the rasboras that i want to breed. so i figure, i will feed them, there was only 5 rasboras and only about half, at most was eaten, is there a possible way to reduce the amount, the food is like bloodworm icecubes

by the way, how many harlequin rasboras would i be able to fit in a 10g tank

in my 15gallon i find that one cube is too much for the fish, alot of it sinking to the gravel
i just cut the cubes in quarters and give them 1 bit at a time, that way none reaches the gravel, and if i see that they are still hungry then ill give them another piece, its a good way to control the amount you feed them

i hate cutting the bloodworms though, the smell is horrible :thud:

well actually there is some livebearer fry in there too but yes in my 10g i tried the whole cube, i was scooping out exess blood worms, do you refridgerate the bloodworms or justfreeze them, what did you do with the small chucnks that you didnt use?

I cut the frozen cube up into quarters and stick them in a small ziploc baggie.
That way, one cube lasts three or four feedings (it doesn't always cut precisely, since it's frozen, but I generally feed two types of food at once for variety anyway.)

When feeding the frozen bloodworms, I pull out a small amount of water from the tank, thaw the portion of the cube in the water, before putting it back in the tank. It gives more fish a chance to get some worms.

Mine are frozen
I have a small tuppaware container that i put the pieces that i didnt feed inside, and put it back in the freezer for the next time
I assume that because they're frozen, and the container is sealed, that they stay fresh
