Blue Ahli and Blue Peacocks

I have a pair of blue ahli's and also some blue peacocks in my 100 gal. tank. My female blue ahli is holding, and I was wondering if there was any chance that an ahli could cross breed with a peacock? My male ahli is of breeding size, but I haven't seen him display as much as some of my peacocks.

yes they can both are mouth brooders..

I guess I was mistaken but I thought a ahli was considered a peacock? No?

The Ahli is a Haplochromine, the Peacock is an Aulonocara, considered a Hap until recently.

Ahli just has peacock colors adults look pretty sweet but are haps..
