I've read up a little on this, but I'm still curious.

Tomorrow, or next weekend at the latest, I'll be receiving a 46g bow front from one of my fiancee's coworkers. I'm very interested in adding 2 or 3 Blue Crayfish, but there is a catch: The tank is coming with an 7" Pleco. This guy is going to have to stay in the 46 bow, there is no choice. I mean, I could give him away, but I'd prefer not to. The other fish in the tank could be added to my 30-soon-to-be-45g.

Would a pleco this big be able to coexist with 2 or 3 crayfish? I'm thinking about adding some guppies, mollies, or endlers to bear fruit for the crayfish. Anyway, tell me your thoughts.

in my experience the pleco i had was the same size or just a big bigger than the cray(twins)fish and he showed no sign of been attacked or bothered by the crays. i had seen 1 cray try to climb on his back but the pleco just riggled him off with no effort atall.
now the crays are bigger and in a different tank i wouldnt like to take the chance of keeping them together again tho, as i love my pleco to much to take a chance, even tho i did put him in with crays for 2 days when i had an out burst of brown algea, which he sorted.
but wouldnt try it long term now.

Thanks. My gut was telling me they'd be fine together(at least for a while). This tells me my gut was right.

It's funny, cause now I actually have a bigger problem. The "medium sized" clown and yo-yo loaches that are also in the 46 bow are really 5-6" long. Any thoughts on how these guys would do? I originally thought "medium-sized" meant 3", and in that case I was going to move them to my other tank.

to be honest i havnt kept yo yos be for but i think they would make a loverly snack for your crays.....as for you clowns i would take a chance as they (well in my experience) sleep upside down on the floor of the tank... so would be an easy meal ticket.
the only fish i have kept with my crays with no bother what so ever is guppies, adults and fry they get along like a house on fire. i keep 2 fems 1 male and about 20ish babies about 3 1/4 of an inch a house house hold so to speak.
