gouramis generally have around 100-500 eggs, on average about 30%-50% survive. One of the main reasons gourami fry die is water that is TOO clean, so keep that in mind!
I beg to differ, I have raised lots of baby Gold Gouramis and had very few losses-under 10% and did 25% water changes EVERY day-they hatched in a 5G tank, until they grew large enough to move to a larger (20G) tank, then 25% weekly. There is nothing better for fish than clean water, regardless of species.
