I agree they need lots of swim room..My hippo swims wildly through the tank.She is all over the tank all at the same,she is sooooo full of energy that she is on the go all the time.A tank that is to small wont give her the room to swim and be the wild fish they are. In a tank that will allow her to grow and swim you really get to see these fish do what they would be doing in the ocean and that is something to see.
I think the best way to describe a hippo tang,,at least with mine ,is like watching a 2 year old hyped up on sugar..always on the go!
