will probably be a crayfish, they are to of the same just different water conditions spit the two. crays fresh water and lobsters salt water. some 1 else here may be able to help more.
Blue lobster are really crayfish.I dont know why they call them lobsters .But they grow to about 5 inchs or a little more. You can keep them with other fish ,but they will kill bottom feeders.
In a 55 gallon with eight Corys and NEVER killed anything.
The Corys did start sleeping on top of rocks when Blue got to four inches long, more because he would bump into them while he walked around.
Many different types of Blues.
Many are not killers.
I have one blue cray and a brwon cray. They just had badies. the males have long slim claws and the females have smaller, thicker claws. I just found this out. When I 1st seen blue with a bunch of stuff stuck to her tail I got scared. Looked wierd, they were eggs. Lots of em. They hatched and the babies are tiny. So cool But to answer your question it is a crayfish. May eat no will eat fish that get to close or hang on the bottom. Mine have eatin a couple of fish. They so cool though.
yeah i dont know of any crayfish that wont eat a fish that is small enough to catch, i geuss if you have one that doesnt eat fish i would say you are lucky..
