wow, blue rams are quite popular in the threads lately. Anyway, while observing the rams today, I noticed one has been bumped out of her regularly territory, which was odd. While observing more, I noticed what looks like little clear eggs in a wad of transparent slime on top of a lower leaf. That would explain the over-aggression.
But I suppose my question is: what colors mean what? If I remember right, white is fungus, or was it bacteria? I think fungus. Brown is fertalized. Does that sum it up?
And really, they shouldnt be able to be fertalized. If my sexing is correct, both are female. The male I have is just a wee little lad and he growing up in the 55g until he is big enough to choose his woman friend.
Am I right so far or is there something Im missing?
Is that even what ram eggs look like?
