Hey guys, Sorry this is kinda a duplicate post

I am fairly new to the Ramirezi scene, and am wondering if anybody here knows of a good food to bring their colours out. 2 of my rams have been in my tank for 4-6 months and have both started to fade to an almost beige colour. I recently added two more females to the tank and since one of my older Rams has brightened up a bit but still nothing major. I would really love to get all their colours bright and shiny but it just aint happening. I feed them colour enhancing tropical flakes, shrimp pellets and frozen blood worms. They every now and then will take a chunk of the spirulina discs I put in my tank for my ottos. Is there another type of food that will help their colours brighten up that you guys could recommend?

Edit:
temp 26-28
Ph 7.2
Nitrate 10
nitrite 0
ammonia 0

Tetra color bits, brineshrimp, and any of the Sera discus color pellets work good. Also another thing to consider is where they are from. If you got them at a petshop chances are they are from asia. The asian bred rams are usually much duller in color, and if they were nice and bright when you got them they were probably hormoned up, without continuing hormone treatments the color fades after a while. Any of the European bred rams, which aren't normally commercially available, are going to be much better colored with very dark blues and a lot of reds and oranges.
