blue rams

My experience with two male rams was that one would chase the other one around the tank. The weaker one eventually died. Mine never displayed that type of behavior because the dominant one was larger. I have however seen identical behavior among my male White Clouds when they're sorting out dominance in the school. My guess would be two males, but I'm certainly no expert. You have some beautiful rams though, mine are\were nowhere near as colorful.

I don't see any pink tummy, so my guess is that you have 2 males. This kind of exhibiting can be seen between male and female but at that point the female will have a very pink mid section. If you can see pink and it didn't come across on the video, you have a pair. If not, you may have trouble keeping one of them alive and happy. Hopefully you have a large 'foot' space in your tank, like 48". That way they can each set up territory and get out of each other's way.

iv got a 4ft tank so no problems there. one ram i think has slightly short fins (you know the ones) i think iv seen that purple shimmery spot, im just not 100% sure. the one i think is female, ended up going back down the bottom fins pressed down and had one scale lifted.

****. i think ill have to take him and swap for a female. strange thing is iv seen them swimming following eachother around the tank. gonna have a hard time catching him.
