Blue Rams

Hi there,

I have a problem whereby the male blue ram chases after the 2 clown loaches in my tank. The female dosen't. Sometimes you see the male and clown loaches sitting beside one another. The clown loaches aren't hiding away from the blue ram, it just looks like a game of tag. I was just wondering if the clown loaches and Blue Rams are compitable with one another or will be stressed out by this or they are just playing around.

Its normal. The male ram will chase away other fish when they get too close to their lil spot.

The tank size is 36" L x 14" W x 15" H, Just didn't want it to stress the clown loaches out as they were there before I put the german blue rams.

sounds like youve got a 30 gallon tank there, and your rams may have formed a breeding pair, thus the aggression towards the other bottom dwellers. your tank is also to small for clwon loaches.
